Here at The Bird of Prey Project we have a mission to make a difference for wildlife, for communities and for the welfare of birds of prey up and down the country.
We are looking to expand our trustee board with an individual who can bring experience in fundraising, to help us advance our objectives. Whether you are local, or far away, we’d love to hear from you if you think your skillset could fit the bill.
As a trustee you would work with a board of at present, five other professionals, with expertise in their specific area from charity management, to finance, human resources, ecology or animal welfare and behaviour, all working collectively as a team to push The Project forward.
You’ll also work in some cases directly with our team on-site, who are responsible for both the resident birds at the Project and our practical initiatives in communitiy engagement, the cavity nesting species programme, biomagnification research and biodiversity action planning.
We hold 6 meetings a year, and you’re able to attend either in person or virtually.
