The Bird of Prey Project Ltd created this Privacy Notice to demonstrate our commitment to privacy online. All of our privacy practices both online and at our centre are in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

We do not collect or store any personal data through our website; however, our website does include links to other sites such as PayPal, Beyonk, Facebook or Instagram. The Bird of Prey Project Ltd is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites. However access to the above accounts through The Bird of Prey Project Ltd is restricted, password and authentication protected.

If you book an experience with us all of your personal details will be stored according to Beyonks privacy policy – https://beyonk.com/privacy-policy.

Communication

If you email us, you do so at your own discretion and your email address will be retained in case we need to contact you again about your enquiry. We will not retain your email address for any longer than necessary. If you make a phone enquiry, we do not hold any phone numbers without asking for your permission first. If we do retain a phone number your personal details will be stored securely and destroyed after the enquiry is complete.

Booking Gift Vouchers online

If you book a Gift Voucher online we will retain the following information for up to 36 months, after which the information is destroyed:

  • Identity information – your given name(s) and surname.

Whilst being retained, the above information is securely stored on a pin protected document on a pin protected computer.

Purchases of gift vouchers are handled through gocardless.com and The Bird of Prey Project is not responsible for the privacy policy of this company. Users should check the Go Cardless privacy policy whilst using this website.

Email subscriptions

Email subscriptions may be manually added to a secure mailchimp.com account and The Bird of Prey Project is not responsible for the privacy policy of this company.

However email addresses are collected by the users discretion via Beyonk.com and users should refer to the above mentioned sites privacy policy for further details. Subscriptions are taken in compliance with UK Spam Laws detailed in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. No personal details are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies / people outside of the company that operates this website. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you may request a copy of personal information held about you by this website’s email newsletter program.

To unsubscribe from The Bird of Prey Project please email info@birdofpreyproject.org and your request will be processed within 72 hours and your personal data will be permanently destroyed from The Bird of Prey Projects records.
