Bird Team Volunteer
Look after the birds homes, facilities and equipment and learn what it means to be a bird keeper – picking up skills in care, training and flying – potentially even learning how to lead displays and experiences yourself.
We are currently taking applications for Bird Team for all days of the week, 9:30 to 15:30 one day a week.

Visitor Greeting Volunteer
Help us welcome our visitors to the centre with a smile, hand out children’s trails, help visitors find their way around the centre, keep our front of house looking tidy, meet new people and enjoy being part of a fun-loving team!
Vacancies are available Wednesday to Sunday, 9:45am – 3:30pm one day a week.

Fundraising Volunteer
Would you like to help us to secure funding trusts and foundations to help us diversify our income so we can develop the centre? This role includes, researching trusts and foundations that we have identified, and finding out how our work meets their criteria. Then writing applications adapting our existing templates.
No experience necessary, just reasonable writing and IT skills!

Maintenance Volunteer
Can you spare some of your free time to support some practical maintenance work around the centre? Work within a fun, friendly team to help us keep the facilities for the centre, our birds and conservation projects in good order. Tasks may include building fences, new aviaries, building nest boxes or re-furbishing equipment.
Some experience in general DIY and using tools is ideal. Hours can be discussed to suit you, either regular or flexible.
