Alice Davidson, Deputy Centre Manager
Alice has worked at the centre since 2018. She manages the centre and birds alongside Patrick, and leads on our conservation projects. If she’s not at the centre you’ll probably find her in a field monitoring the local wildlife. Photo: Maya Howarth
Steve Donoghue, Senior Bird Keeper
Steve volunteered at the centre before joining the staff team in 2025. When he’s not training birds or running experiences, you’ll find him building or fixing something around the centre. Photo: Lottie Gard
Vic Tweedie, Charity Manager
Vic joined the team in 2025, and manages governance, marketing, fundraising and finances. You are more likely to find her in an office than an aviary but she loves the chance to be around nature and wildlife. Photo: Mark Dawson
Volunteers
Our extremely dedicated volunteers are vital to the running of our centre and charity. They support us with bird care, maintenance, delivering experiences, and even with admin and marketing tasks. We are forever grateful to them, and in return we provide them with training and opportunities to build their skills in animal care, conservation and wildlife education.

James Hancock, Vice Chair
James has worked in fundraising for over 7 years, during which time he has helped to secure millions of pounds in funding for various charities. As a young trustee, James is dedicated to increasing the representation and quality of experience for trustees aged 30 and under on charity boards, and has worked closely with the Young Trustees Movement to develop his own governance skills. James currently works as a Trusts and Foundations Manager for Dogs Trust, and is a lover of all animals; his favourite bird of prey is the Red Kite

Elizabeth Nevin
Elizabeth is a conservation professional specialised in community-led marine and fisheries management, both in the UK and overseas. Her career spans over 10 years in the charity sector, with additional background building accessibility needs into the design of outdoor experiences. Applying learnings from global conservation programmes, she promotes collaboration with local stakeholders to embed restoration approaches that last.
Nicky Plaskitt
Nicky is a Zoological Behaviour Consultant and founder of Shaping Behaviour. She works with zoological and educational facilities worldwide to improve the welfare of animals through empowering caregivers with the skills to manage behaviour using the most positive least intrusive solutions. She has 25 years of experience working with all species and have significant experience with birds of prey. Nicky aims to help TBOPP on their journey working with the birds in a high trust, restraint free environment wherever it is safe and possible to do so, improving the welfare of the birds and the skills of the team members.
Joe Rayment, Chair
Joe has chaired our board since 2021. He was previously a Bath & North East Somerset councillor, and has had a passion for birds of prey since he was a young child. For the last decade, he’s worked in charities which support people with drug and alcohol and mental health problems.
