We are delighted to announce the programme for this year’s British Bird of Prey Day!

Date: Saturday 15 August

Times: 10am-4pm

British Bird of Prey Day is our yearly event inviting wildlife enthusiasts, conservationists, families, and the general public to come together to celebrate British species of Birds of Prey and the habitats they live in.

This year, we are delighted to welcome back Naomi Johns (previously Centre Manager at The Bird of Prey Project) to talk about her new role as Ornithologist at The Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation.

We also welcome back our good friend Chris Sperring MBE of the Hawk and Owl Trust to talk about their UK-wide conservation projects.

New to 2026, Nick Patel of Wilder Skies, will be leading wildlife walks from the centre exploring local habitats close to Newton St. Loe.

In addition there will be 2 flying displays featuring British species of birds of prey, stalls by local artists and wildlife groups, and interactive workshops.
