Earlier this year, we lost Sindri, our amazing Northern Hawk Owl. She was a wonderful part of our flying team, loved by audiences, staff and volunteers. Senior Bird Keeper Alice pays tribute to Sindri:
Sindri was always a very curious owl, tilting her head quizzically when she saw something that interested her. She was very gentle accepting food, and liked to stick by your side when she was out flying (when she wasn’t hopping around in the trees). She will be greatly missed by everyone at TBOPP, who would like to thank the team at Highcroft Witchurch for their excellent care and guidance towards the end of Sindri’s life.
